How do I earn Neuron Coins?

Every correct answer in Sharpen mode earns you one Neuron Coin. Keep playing to level up your Sharpness from Pre-School all the way to Master.

How do I unlock Medium and Hard levels?

Earn category-specific Neuron Coins by playing quizzes. For 3-level categories: Medium unlocks at 50 coins, Hard unlocks at 100 coins (200-question categories) or 200 coins (500-question categories). For 2-level categories (100 questions): Hard unlocks at 50 coins.

How do I add my own questions?

Go to Tools > Settings and enable "Add/Edit Questions". Then go to Tools > Database, select a category, and tap the + button to add questions manually.

How do I import questions from a spreadsheet?

Go to Tools > Settings and enable "Import CSV". Prepare a CSV file with the correct format (see the "How to?" section in the app). Then go to Tools > Database and tap the import button.

How do I create a custom category?

Go to Tools > Settings and enable "Add Custom Category". Then go to Tools > Database, tap the + button, and enter a name for your new category. For this version, a maximum of 2 custom categories with up to 50 questions each can be created.

Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?

Your settings, Neuron Coins, and player names are backed up in your device's Keychain and will be restored when you reinstall. However, custom questions and imported photos will be lost.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. Sharpener works entirely offline. All 3,400+ built-in questions across 11 categories are included in the app.
